Saverpierre Maggio
Saverpierre explores the threshold between image and object. He is currently tasked with a new series tentatively titled “Resolve” wherein his works document the disruption of the x-y plane when shifting to the z-axis. This body of work tests and challenges the historical expectation or premise that a painting should remain flat. The geometric shifts proposes a painting that is not only seen but encountered. As the viewer moves, the work also changes: light migrates, and shadows edit. Each work protrudes and answers the room in solo and in unison.
Preview the Resolve series is by private link ahead of the 2026 debut exhibition.
Saverpierre holds a Ph.D. in Quantitative Studies/Statistics, law degrees (LL.B., and LL.M.), and master’s degrees in both political science and in educational administration. He is based in Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
